A mind is a terrible thing to waste

Saturday was pretty nuts. Lazed around in the day and got much needed rest, felt pretty recharged but still that semi-tired haze. Went and got Roland then ended up missing our turn and drama, finally ended up in Mirrabooka at Prestos for a lil pre-smoke and what have you, he got a local film award for a documentary he made and he seemed pretty serious about starting up a lil' production company which could be good, need to get shit off the ground.

Drove to the rave and as it turns out was just TWO streets away from where I work in Malaga! As I found a random place to park I discovered it was the place I park like everyday to get my lunch from the Deli, what are the odds! Even parked there we could hear the loud thumpage of tunes and knew we were in for something sweet. Mini presmoke and drop while we parked, and as that was happening apparently in line at the event some dude got 30 rolls confiscated off him, they were in his pockets though so what the hell was he thinking.

The area was basically a carpark between two buildings but what they did with it was awesome, there was over 1000 people there and these massive red and green laser lights set up to make different shapes and objects on one side of a building, and then at the very back near another building was the front stage where the dj's and shiz were. Saw Jack Evans, my former room-mate Gerry and a few random juggalos there which was cool, there was a few weiners there though.

DJ Weaver came on at I think 1am and everyone was going nuts, and around the same time as this the rain started to slowly come but no-one seemed to mind. His set flew by really fast with nonstop dancing, and as the rain started getting heavier and heavier it was good because no-one was overheating so you could keep on keeping on. With the way the laser lights were and all, when the rain came down it looked as if the sky was glittering red and green which was a wicked visual, and even though I didn't notice it 'cause I was in my own world DJ Weaver extended his set another half hour because everyone was still going hard even though it was pouring down, wish I could see this on video.

After Weaver combined with the pouring rain, alot of people bailed which was suprising...pussies. The rain deffo added to the atmosphere and there were still people dancing but it wasn't as packed as it was around the 1/2am mark. I think we left around 4:30ish, drove back to Bretts for a spaced-out smoke and then got home around uhhh....can't remember...maybe 7amish? Recovered all day then went back to a saggy week at work.

Oh, and I told my boss today that I don't really see a future with this company and what have you, and he was cool with that. He knows that I completely blownspot at work EVERY single day and its horrible and said theres 3 weeks left of work and that if after that 3 weeks I still want to go I can, but if I want to stay I can.....but I'll be going, no doubt about that. Now I just gotta find a new job, I'm thinking some generic nightfill job so I can spend the days doing shit I want to do and being able to go hard on the weekends and such.

Had first Meditation experience on Wednesday, and I dig it. Most definately going to go back next week, I can see this as being very beneficial for my health. I've also realised the way my lifes been going recently and that changes need to be made, so I'm gonna get shit sorted and put myself back on track this summer.

I work 9 to 5 but thats shiiit mate

Ahhh its raining, what the hell? I thought it was nearly Summer! Hope the rave is indoors and not outdoors 'cause if it rains tonight that'll blow. On Tuesday I chucked a sickie and then went to Sizzler with Ash and John baked, we didn't stay for that long 'cause we threw the food down and got full after like an hour, we were pretty dissapointed in ourselves. Then we went to Scabs beach which was cool, can't waiiit for summer the beach is going to kick booty. Got my legs burned but nowhere else, weird as fook. Almost had a MJ tea at Rolands on Thursday but there were chunks in it and I didn't wanna be sick so its sitting in the fridge waiting for a time to use it...maybe Sunday.

Last night turned into a ridiculous lil adventure with stupid shit happening to us that was sooooo spaced. Originally just going to slang in the city near Metros, we allllmost went to DJ Hype, and as we walked by we heard Showdown and Jeremy said they played Timewarp in there, would have been an awesome gig. On the way there though we were walking along the path and there was no-one around on either sides and we were just shredding drones and what have you, then all of a sudden I hear a smack sound and see a nerf ball bounce off Rolands back. So random! We just kept walking and since we were both baked that tripped us out. Then when we were at a Kebab shop this random indian guy sat next to us and started talking and I thought it was Rolands friend but turns out it was a stranger, abit awkward.

Oh, and also when we went to go smoke back in my car there were a bunch of aborignals hanging around and they asked us for $2, I said no cause I flatout cbf giving them my hard earned money but Roland wanted to save face so he gave $2.50 and they went away. So since we couldn't smoke there we had to find a new place to go, so as I'm driving along unbeknowest to me Rolands playing with his mace (subconsciously) and then all of a sudden he starts coughing and saying "Oh no! I sprayed it!" then all of a sudden I felt my throat start to choke up and slowly cough, it was horrible! I try to roll down my window but my window roller on my side is busted, so I was driving along trapped knowing I couldn't air out the mace and I had to keep driving, we were slowly going by Northbridge with po-po everywhere looking like we were dying....so bad.

We were planning to leave before 12 so we could have an easy restful night before Insomniak, but we forgot about the 12-5am cerfew and only remembered it in the city sitting in my car smoking at 12:04am, so we knew we were stuck there for another 5 hours. There were other blownspots that happened consistently throughout the night, but overall it was cool. Went to the rise to slang but not much bucks, saw my former-room mate get politely-escourted out for having a flip out visibly. Ended up with 1 pink stickman, but last night was a warmup for tonight. Big rave with over 1300 people going in a secret place in Malaga, should be a goooood evening. Then after this its definately a break from that scene for 5 weeks, going to get back to working on some new music aswell as finally getting Weedsworth and Bluntfield back on track!

El weekend

This weekend was pretty sweet. Got Ash, picked up an oz and had mucho fun at the Rise with Sarah, Ellie, Emily and Briony. The music and atmosphere on Fridays is significantly flatter then on Sats, and the 2 white mitzys we took didn't really affect like we thought but we still had a good time and repeatedly going to the Deli to get gum/water (or in Brionys case an inhaler...which I found on the floor on the way to work today)

After the Rise I drove back to our area where we smoked ourselves into a stupor by Mawson Park, I dunno what time we ended up leaving...like around 8am? Saturday was spaced out on Ashs bed...wait, was I? Or was that last week? Ugh, I don't know. Saturday was a pretty zoned out day, went to Rolands and we started work on a brand new song, which has an industrial/hip hop hybrid type sound, so hopefully we get that banged out this month.

Saturday night was a big night where Ash, Rol and John came aboard for the trek down to Thorline for more product and picking up Bretts sister (Brett was sick as hell so couldn't go out but Harriot wanted to still come out) so we headed to the Rise around 11:30, I was pretty spaced when I was driving so a few little hiccups along the way but was all good. We had a quick smoke before we went in and as usual we got there alittle early (Fuck waiting in the massive line circa 1/2am though) but it was cool.

The group broke off for a lil as Dizzy/John went to Amps, Rol/Ash smoked in my car so Harry and I just chilled for ages and danced. Ur-ull was there with the turtle so that was cool, bushy Josh and Lucys former-Matt were there to, I swear Rise always has cameos. I've found out that the peak hour for the Rise is 2-3am, with a packed crowd and all the cheap pop music hits but due to the lame-ass new driver rules I couldn't legally drive till 5am.

John was waaaaasted and so at 5am we went back to Thornlie to drop Harry off, had a few cones and then went back on the road. Got home around 8am delirious as hell, and got some good shuteye. Throughout the day though I was too fucked to do anything so I just lazed around with bongs, sorry for bailing on Sunday sesh!

Annnd today was alright, didn't feel as bad as I thought I would. Gonna go have a jay today w/Ash and John, and then tomorrow I shall be calling in sick again for Sizzler fun!

Come on Summer, hurry up!

Hurray for the weekend, finally! I swear these working weeks get longer and longer, not cool. For 2 of those days I had to be at the bosses sons house at 7am in Bassendean (BRUTAL! It was 7:30am today) to go down to Jandakot for some electrician type work, but thankfully there was blownspots and he was chill as hell so we did fuckall work and left early on both days, score! Saturday was quite fun, but Monday/Tuesday sure did suck alot, def gonna take a break after Imsomniak 2 next weekend and get to grindin' on Weedsworth and Bluntfield.

Saw Mel Gow at the gym aswell, so random! And Bec Scott goes there too, so the gym at Whitties is the place to be. Gotta get my ticket to Origin, PE and Pendulum would most def (lawl) kick booty.

About to get get Ash and then Sarah, then off for another wild night that'll leave us dead tomorrow. This'll be our last crazy adventure with Sars so it should be a big night, hopefully Rise doesn't play the stale-ass mix they did last Friday on Halloween. I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt here!

Annnnnd yeah, thats aboot it. After I finish paying off debts to Transperth (grr) and parentals I'm going to start saving for travel in '09, whether its Canada, America or Amsterdam!

Few days off

Pretty sweet few days, on Wednesday I woke up at like 6am looked at my alarm clock and knew I could NOT leave the bed and go to work so I waited till 7:15 and said I had an upset stomach and was off the hook. New Smackdowns awesome, and then it was decided I wasn't going to go on Thursday either but I'd need a medical certificate. I woke up at 6:30ish and showered and got changed like I was going to work to kayfabe parentals, then picked up Ash around 7amish, baked and had drive-thru brekky. Then I went to a medical center and got a certificate by talking to doctor and telling him a load of bs.

Went to Bri's last night and drank a fair amount of bourbon and that dog is sooo similiar to Shandy. Today going to Bretts and then off to ze moon, just waiting for Rol and Ash to swing by. This year has just flown by, can't believe its Christmas and shit next month!

Last few weeks I guess?

Sooo I kept meaning to update but been slackin alot. Last coupla weeks I've been working my new stinky job in Malaga as an office lackey, its horrendously painful. I basically search through building plans and estimate the cost of installing particular fire systems into them. I'm working on the Police Station now in Stirling street....ughhhhhh. I cannot believe people do that 5 days a week for DECADES, I need out of this job quick so I'm gonna find like a warehouse/slacker type job fulltime where its decent pay but the people are quirky gimmicks and such. First gotta find that job then 2 weeks notice straight away!

Also been some crazy times recently, big epic nights that transition into delirious morning and early afternoons. Getting some trippy rolls soon which should be interesting. Johns 90's party was quite enjoyable except for the Days of our Lives oldschool dramas happening. Driving with your own music is greaaaat. No more 'The Wrong Way Hoooome' and stupid putz Akmal for me!

Couldn't really move my body much on Saturday night so didn't go to the party (Soz) But Halloween itself was pretty sweet, I painted up with Brett and Shane and we went to Hyde Park for some show and it was NOT the place I needed to be. Had I been dressed normally and like drunk that woulda been sweet, but painted up absolutely ultra stoned (Had my first blunt, banana spliff flavoured) so I was abit paranoid and was getting so much heat I think the sun was jealous. Eventually though we went to the Rise where I didn't really get heat, and like 5 different people knew what the paint was which was sweet. Plus we met these ravers and this girl had a little animal named like Urr Ull or something and she gave amazing offchops massages but the music throughout the night was flat as hell. Drove back to Bretts and smoked for a few hours, then delrious as fuckkkk drove back around 9am and I accidently went through a red light in the city, thankfully no cars were coming 'cause good lord, I was wayyy too out of it.

Going out tomorrow night and possibly a 21st on Friday but I dunno if I can be bothered travelling that fookin far. Annnnd yeah, thats all I can remember. I swear, a week feels like a months memory so I'm gonna start eating lots of tuna. Oh, and the american exchange student is now living with us and she's fitted in with my family pretty well. Like, shes religious and very straight but everyone meshes so thats alright. Might have to offer her a bong before she leaves which is in like December.

Blah

A few things been happening, but not alot. Ridiculous situation that stemmed from egg shennanigans into a car/bike chase involving some angry bikers who at one point after trapping us in a culdasack slammed on my car window and opened my door....going to get new licence plates so I don't cop a bikie beatdown at Whitties traffic in the next few months.

Dropped a few times, went to an awkward party just for nars. Then the next night had another pre-drinks at lettes place which was a tad awkward, and then BBQ the next day blownout as fuck. Last Saturday night was quite sweet though, as is at the Rise with plenty of product. Started to space out by around 9am in Thornlie though, that was trippy as fuck.

Started a new job, 2 days in and I absolutely loathe it. What was I thinking?! I was told I was gonna be a lil office drone and draw up/mark out fire building plans, but today I spent the vast majority as a fucking electrician with power tools and stuff. I have NO experience with tools, lingo/what to do etc etc and even after telling them this I had to spend hours trying to work some big power thing (I don't even know the name of the thing I was working on) all the while getting heat with the stupid revheads and old farts whose lives center around work, sport and cars. Very close to walking out and just driving to get pizza, but alas, its STILL dry around here so I haven't been having the daily relaxing routine.

My tax finally came in, but due to a debt my dad had which somehow transferred onto my tax it said I owed them $520 (Instead of getting $1100) so I had to get jerked around on the phone for about 40 minutes and now I'll be getting my $1100.....within the next 2 weeks. Oh, and after I got home from work today I walked in, realised I left my phone in the car, went outside to open it and broke the freaken door handle.

I'm gonna start looking for a new job, I don't know what I'm going to do though. I just can't be fucked at ALL with a job, but I need cash. Was hoping to get an awesome new bong now I've got cashflow but with nothing to smoke with it'd be nothing more then a tease. Annnnnd thats all.

P stands for Permit, J stands for...oh, fuck it I got a job

Slowly but surely I'm gonna get out of this recession. I got my liscence just over a week ago, mannnnn why didn't I do this in year 12?! Driving is awesome, but petrol prices isn't. Especially being unemployed, my bank account shrinked as I found out compression sessions in car drains funds quickly (product+petrol+munchies) Now finally after zero cash, an empty stash and over a month with no job I've found employment with 'Westside Fire Services' which are a company in Malaga that install fire systems and shit into buildings. I got a job as an office boy who looks over plans and stuff, first official drone office job and the early starts are going to kill me but I'm definately over having no moolah.

I put my tax in this week so should get it by the end of next week hopefully, I hella need it because I have no money (As in literately, I think I have about 60 cents in my wallet and negative in my bank) So I'm stuck at home doing nudda except going to the gym and taking Shandy to the beach.

Weedsworth and Bluntfield has hit more road blocks as the stupid shitbag editing system keeps closing down and not letting me convert/edit the video anymore, and its SO close to being done! Fucking major piss off, we'll be working on 2 new projects in the meantime until that shit gets sorted, that video woulda been online like 2 weeks ago if it wasn't for this!

Pretty soon we're having a 23 year old American teacher from Ohio come and live with us for 10 weeks, hopefully she's a real chill chick and if she partakes in ritualised herbal consumption that would be awesome as I could pick her brain and hear great stories. However, if she's a completely straight-introverted christian/religious nutbag then that'll make living the next 2 and a half months pretty awkward.

Annnnd thats whats been up, I neeeeed money and nars....maybe if I found some teenagers who needed someone to buy them booze and I just add a $10 surchage per purchase or something? Eh, fuck it.

I'm outa a job again! After popping by Ashs and watching the now B-grade Raw I reaally just couldn't be bothered going to work, at all. Like, knocking on doors and stuff pushing a product onto people who don't want you on their doorstop?! Ugh. I called up and said I wasn't coming back and that I don't want to do it anymore, and so its all good. I think I got stiffed with my pay though, gonna have to follow that up. And I STILL need to do my tax and get it sent out, hopefully get a nice lil' wad of dosh. And I really needa find a new job but have no clue what to do.

Getting closer and closer to finally driving around legally, I just need to get it booked and done because I can drive and I'm soooo sick of transperth its like a marriage I don't want to be apart of anymore. Hopefully going out tonight for a crazy trek to Bassendean, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Unfortunately filming botched on the weekend due to a dissapointing attitude and silly scenarios that got oversold. Ash and I will however be churning out something this month, we're determined to throw a video up there!

As for this weekend got a party on Friday night which should be another adventure that leads who knows where, Saturday there will be some filming being done and Sat night I believe Northbridge is on the cards. Sunday is recovery day and rellies coming over for lunch.

Fuckstel

Well I'm currently working for foxtel as a sales consultant, and I hate with an intense passion so I'm going to tell my boss I can't do this anymore after my shift tonight, even though I haven't been paid. Seriously, door-knocking can make you alot of money if you can be a manipulative pushy little fake-ass, but I cannot be bothered and just want a job I can zone out to and dream about better things. So yeah, now I gotta find a new job!

Weedsworth and Bluntfield will be getting banged out, new video coming this month and we plan to release something every month so check for updates when they're banged out. My parents are gone for the weekend overseas so thats when filming will be done, and if Dave comes through with the swiftness we should have a fun weekend!

Gonna get my liscence, but farrk my driving instructors a dud. I just needa get me bloodeh test booked, but if I go with Ashs instructor I could be waiting alot longer since the earliest he got Ash was next month. I need one this month, dag nam it!

And yeah, thats all thats been happening recently. I reaaalllly hate my foxtel job though, like reaaallly. With a passion. Fark that! Now I think its time for a w'n'b and drive-thru dirty breakfast.

How are you? Fired!

Farrrk its only been 3 weeks?! Feels like months ago that we saw JS off his noggin' on the dance floor.

Well, I left my stinky job at Spandex to pursue a better job, had a week off, decided to change my lessons to automatic cause cbf waiting for manual and then came back to Spandex for a 2 week temp fill in while they find someone else. However, after both unknowingly catching the later bus we decided to smoke in the Glendalough toilets and ended up arriving at work about 7-8 minutes late. Unexpectedly, the boss comes into work to check out the place and promptly yells me down and fires me. About 20 minutes later Ash walked out and we ate and enjoyed half-priced waffles unemployed on a rainy Tuesday morning. Its cool though, I've got his liscence plate, mobile number and email address. This aint the last you've heard of us Vince/Russel!

Since then, I've done nothing except be a total complete bum half-assedly applying at jobs. I've got a job tryout tomorrow with foxtel, thanks to this guy I've seen at parties whose my sisters friend boyfriend, and always shouts me bud! He said after 3 months you get foxtel premium package installed free, so this drone-job will be good for that and I can just save up and see if I like it or not.

Got some great gigs coming up; Down, Dragonforce, Opeth, Machine Head...I dig it!

Finally gonna get some videos banged out, and also hopefully get my drivers test booked and passed, it fucking sucks and is crippling not being able to drive legally!!!

Yeah, this weekend was fun. Jo's 4th of July had delicious hamburgers and Ash dancing off chops. Saturday had brutal EPW main event, good times at the Rise, Justin Sane pinging! Would write more but pretty hungover.

How are you?

Funtimes has been a'happening. On Tuesday we went to see The Mars Volta, and got nice and toasted for it. Super suprising to see Jesus and Buddhah from the Wine trip, and they were high too! So we went up to the rooftop of the venue and smoked some more green, being very paranoid and looking over at the guard every few seconds. We thought we schooled it but as we went in when the intro to their set played the guard jokingly swifted his finger from side to side, and he knew all along!

We got decently close spots just off to the side, and there were some annoying spaced out people next to us, and one was putting their arm on Reija and wanting him to dance with her (He was with a girl so he wasn't hitting on her, more like friendly-drugged out wanting to dance) That guy obviously didn't know TMV hates moshing and stuff, but ahhwell.

The set was SUPER underwhelming, nothing from Deloused! I paid to hear Meccamputechture, Inertiac ESP, Drunkship of Latterns and Rouelette Dares and I didn't hear ONE of them! I mean, Aberinkula and Goliath were sweet live, but the rest of the set I was waiting to hear one of those songs. There was a technical error aswell during the show that stalled them from songs for a good 20 minutes, which kinda kiled the crowd. They also didn't play a 3 hour set like they said they would, and left abruptly with no encore. So yeah, very dissapointed from that show...but what can ya do.

Keyboards acting all funny, grrr. Changed up our gym routine today, which means more muscle! And going to have a quiet one at Ashs tonight, and then tomorrow partay down. Should be reaaal fun and Kevin's challening Ash to a drinkoff with a stipulation happening to the loser...ace lad!

Pretty awesome having a 3 day weekend if you ask me, but there should definately be more of them. Working 5 and breaking 2? Thats just not right! Got some filming done on Friday night which was good, hopefully gonna have a new video online real soon depending on when I get my microphone in le mail.

Was gonna have my party on Saturday but with the pissing/hail weather, the fact I had no money to supply booze for the party/myself and thinking it would be a cold, dozen or so flat-atmosphere parties that people wouldn't enjoy too much, so I postponed it. I'm thinking June 21st, but I might have it a week after that depending whats on.

Watched One Night Stand with the lads, great pay per view! Undertaker retiring at One Night Stand? I don't think so. Prolly gonna take time off and come back later, and mostly leaving at 'Mania perhaps? Work tomorrow is going to be stinky because its a busy day, but I'm going to book my test on Thursday so hopefully I can bust out getting a liscence finally and no more stupid transperth unless I want to!

Northbridge/City fun

Last night was pretty darn fun. Didn't get upto much on Friday because I was just having one of those days, but Saturday Ash and I met up with Mikey Teague for some hilarity, the sit-com chemistry they have on bus-rides/walk abouts is gold.

After that we went to Johns for pre-drinks, then it was off to Tizzys. Quite fun and free drinks was awesome, but the deffo highlight was going for a smoke w/Tizzys dad! And he was just the coolest veteran-hippy type guy ever, for the second week in a row Ash and I got schooled by a wiser toker. He was telling us stories of being in San Fransisco and stuff in the 60's! With proper LSD and stuff, and he first tried ganj in 1959! If that isn't fresh I don't know what is. So we basically passed around a jay at some underground carpark and some aboriginal chicks were very loudly saying that we're smoking pot and its bad for us etc etc and even though there was carpark security staring at us not even 10 meters away, we didn't get busted or anything.

After that, went to Amps where the silly line barely moved for ages, and we had to pay $10 entry, which I thought was gonna be free entry after 12. Then went to the Court and saw Roland, then we were going to go for a final-night smokey when this random british guy came over and started talking, with the majority of the conversation just being racist to aboriginals, but what can ya do!

Then caught a taxi back to Johns, grabbed my bag and caught another taxi home. Now, I'm not sure whats going on today, but all I know is I hate the stomach-feeling post drinking because it just takes all the energy out of ya. Annnd my parties now officially less than 2 weeks away!

The weekend

This weekend was pretty sweet. Friday night just went to Ash's and caught up with Raw, its actually an exciting program that I want to see each week instead of just sitting through it for the hell of it, theres still some shit thats weighing it down though.

Saturday morning we woke up and then went to Ballajura for a brewrey tour with John, and it was organised by my sister and her mate. Quite a number of people there, and almost everyone dressed up except us (Cause all our costumes botched) Ash ended up getting the no-costume award and had to wear a fluro yellow trolley vest the rest of the day. At the start of the day it was suuuuuuper crazy awkward, but as everyone got drunker things chilled out. About halfway through as we stopped outside for some free-vanilla vodka John smelled dope and a guy with blonde dreadlocks dressed up as Jesus was smoking a jay! So naturally we went over and talked and smoked, and it turns out he homegrew it and dubbed it 'Hairy Chronic Junior'!!!

I wasn't expecting that to happen on a beer tour, but as we went to other places I was quite drunk and stoned, and John was absolutely hammered talking to everybody. Then on our last stop we went behind the bus and chilled out with this other guy who was friends with Jesus, and he was dressed as Buddhah! And had FAT long black dreadlocks, and so we pulled bongs and shouted each other and then just chilled for ages. It was really cool, Ash and I were getting schooled by these older wise veterans of the narcotics scene, telling us these stories he had on shrooms and DMT and stuff. It was great!

Then after that we were all blownout and wanting to go home so when the bus came back to Mels place we bailed, only we just missed the bus we were suppose to catch and ended up going on the opposite one that took us to Alexander Heights and then finally the city, and John was ubero wasted talking on the bus and we were all just frazzled.

Went to Johns and hung there for the night, but none of us had any energy because we were drinking since 9am onwards and so were just too wired. Kelly, Reija and Ben came over for abit, had a smoko outside and gave the update to Ben including my employment situation and its pure goofy-comedy like scenario.

Today is mothers day ofcourse and that was alright, I weaseled out of a family breakfast with relatives I'm not a fan of, and we were gonna go to the freezer at Johns work and do what we do but unfortunately this higher-up dude was in for the day so we couldn't go.

And I'm having a party that was originally gonna be Saturday the 24th, but if Jo's partys getting moved to the 24th I guess I'll move mine to the 31st.

So, shits starting to pop off. I've got a fulltime job now at a factory in Osborne Park w/Kev, Samoa Joe and this dude named Jim who ALSO did tafe screen in central tafe and worked part-time at a grocery store nightfill to pay for it, what a weird coinscidence. Anyways, after one day it seems pretty darn cruisy and I really need to get an O Z for the future because a phat celebration day and a phat box social are whats going to be in order in a few weeks.

I'm also well into my driving lessons, think I've had half a dozen so I should be going for my test before my Birthday next month. I also got a drumkit today, gonna get my sisters boyfriend to help set it up and then gettin' to my training! Also been gymming it consistently for nearly 2 months with no signs of slowing down, even though I finish work at 5pm I'll still make it in for a 5:30-6:30 workout. Hopefully gonna be bigger by the summer!

And now I'll have money, hurrah!

Fuck, I just deleted my entry accidently by highlighting and pressing a key! Damnit!

Anyways, April Fools was yesterday. Was gonna go gymming but got too RVD'd and gave up, getting a fat kebab on the way back. On the train ride there I decided to utilise the stink-bomb I got from my sisters friend who knew I was an OG prankster, it was great. After a few seconds a reaaally pungent egg smell was rampat, and everyone around was talking similiar to the scene in Anchor Man with the scent 'Whats that smell?' "Ugh, smells like egg!" 'That's rank!' And yeah, it was ill.

Doing more and more driving lessons, got another one booked on Friday. Hopefully getting a fulltime job real soon to save up for Canada and Wrestlemania 25! And yeah, thats whats been up. Bring on April 20th!

So in the last 3 or so weeks since the last entry, I've been half-ass searching for a fulltime job, but now I think I've got a good shot at getting one...at Bunnings Whitfords. Handed in my resume and they were looking for jobs, and I guess it'll be my generic-job-to-save-money-for-travel kinda gig. I'm gonna have to work tonight, which really sucks, but some friends of my sister can't hold their drumkit for me much longer as they need the cash, so I'll mostly have a drum set within a fortnight! Comedy band here I come!

Some nice gigs coming in the next few months; Dillinger Escape Plan, Children of Bodom and The Mars Volta should all be awesome concerts. And apparently a 'lo that I ran into in the city yesterday said Necro's coming back to Perth this year, which is what some other peeps on a forum said so hopefully thats true because it absolutely sucked ass not getting in last year because of the stupid security guard!

Wellllll, I've got my cousin coming 'round in the next half hour and hopefully I'm going to expose him to the Robby V, but if not we'll just hang out and the like.

Later!

Soundwave

Howdy ho ya'll (Wow, old cheap pop. Whatever happened to Mr Hanky?) Anyways, I was pumped to see Ill Bill but turns out it got cancelled, still don't know why but it sucks regardless. Saw Soundwave on Monday, it was pretty sweet. We got there late after meeting the Whole FN Show twice via Kernel, around about 3/3:30ish. FUCK it was hot! Super hot, I felt bad for all the people in black shirts, I was wearing my trusty Orange Misfits shirt so I wasn't dying as much as everyone around me, but in the mosh just standing there I could feel my legs sweat, it was rank.

MSI were great, they were just as tight as they were when I saw them in Canada. Lyn-Z is STILL a suuuuper babe, she did that lean down trademark thing when playing the bass and its one hell of a rock'n'roll trademark move. We chilled out (And paid tribute to the longest reigning ECW TV Champion) outside one of the toilets at the bottom of the hill and witnessed like 4-5 different people running and jumping the fences one after the other. It was awesome! So much energy and passion, with people inside the venue cheering them on. Eventually, most of them got caught but I heard one of the security guys say on the radio that he lost 2 of them. Fight the power!

Caught abit of Infectious Grooves which was really enjoyable, so I got their music and I love it! Great funky metal, I wish I saw the whole set but I walked off to see Jim Ward...or should I saw 'Jim (makes me) Bored'

I never get into acoustic one pieces at all, theres only so many different melodies you can sing about, and about 30 seconds in I felt really tired and sleepy so John and I went on abit of a walk. I should've just stayed at Infectious Grooves!

After that we waited for Offspring which got big wrestling-style chants from the crowd inbetween Incubus songs, and Ash and I felt it was best to have a jay there. We got a fair amount of heat from people around us but its all good, because I was mighty ripped by the time Offspring came to the stage. The crowd was hot for it and bopping around, and it was pretty good. But about halfway into the set I started to get REALLY tired of the same boppy-pop punk riffs, but I was surrounded by boppers and couldn't find John and Ash.

Overall it was a good festival but the main gripes was the skanky hot weather and tight-ass security (During sets)

And yeah, I might be leaving tafe tomorrow, getting a fulltime job and saving up for Canada again!

Yizzow, whats going down? Damn, Psychopathics from Outer Space 3 is a corker of an album in my books. Got 2 gigs coming up, Ill Bill and Soundwave. Total cost of those is $170, I have $160!!! I'm fucking TEN dollars off both them sumbitches (Also taking into account I have a grand $8 to use on eftpos for food)

Though I need that person who won a DVD off ebay to send me my $15, then I can go to both! If not, this'll blow ass if I can't see both concerts. Today I worked behind the scenes on the Access31 show Sweet'N'Sour, which was pretty sweet. I have my FIRST OFFICIAL TV CREDIT! So tomorrow night on Access31 at the conclusion of Sweet'N'Sour, during the credits Paul Burnfield will appear under lighting assisstant! Booyah! I'll be going back and doing work with the show every Monday from now on (Except next cause of Pub Holiday/Soundwave)

Got my new computer, need to get a new editing program on this badboy so I can start banging out new films. Stay tuned for that!

The last month

Bunch of stuffs been going on the last month. Got into Cert IV Screen in Tafe, that's been going alright but its pretty awkward and I'm kinda lagging behind at the moment. Good Vibes was on Sunday and that was an awesome gig, Cypress Hill's set still stands as the greatest thing I've seen/done baked, and its going to be pretty farking hard to top.

Got dreadlocks done, but going to give the hairdressers a call today and seeing if I can get them touched up because its gotten a bit loose, I should've just opted for the natural way but no going back now, its all good. Can't afford to see Cyndi Lauper this week, but atleast theres Ill Bill next week which is going to kick all kinds of ass.

I need to get my Centerlink money stuff done because only working 2 nights a week is killing me money wise, I can't afford anything except food, transport and phone bills pretty much. Boo! But yeah, everythings going good and now that I've reset my password I'll be posting alot more on LJ, so stay tuned!

Another year ninjas

Yup, another year has happened. Fuck, 2007 kicked ass. No responsibility, it was the shit.

For New Years I met up w/Ash and had some 420, then went to Johns and chilled out more. Trecked to Adams party for quite abit of awkwardness, but we got mighty baked and I shouted Dizzy and Jayred some herb. It was a pretty sweet party, though I got dehydrated and started tripping balls for real, like I couldn't see and I was banging into shit and tripping out something fierce, so I had to sit down in the corner and get back to reality, which I did by pulling out my mobile phone and playing it. But still, fuck...I'm making sure I'm fully hydrated for future sessions because that was just like the Black Crusade concert where I didn't have water in me when I should've.

Anyways dirty hot skanks making out everywhere aplenty, I had my video camera and admist the chaos theres a few girls making out (Bet that must've looked super super creepy, but I wasn't filming that more-so the hilarity of guys wasted cutting promos)

Today went with Ash to see a movie, totally hungover though so we decided on Bee Movie. But once we got there we couldn't be bothered with the heat we'd get sitting in a kids movie and so we opted for Alien vs Predator Requim, what a stinker...so cliche but not in the good way. Just stanky and played out.

Can't wait for 2008, going to get my liscence and get neden dag nam it!

Christmas fun

Had a decent christmas, had to get up early at like 8am for both sides of family and stuff. Got alot of money and some clothes, including a "I'm Paul You're Jealous" tshirt my sister made hahaha farrrk what a trip. The night before involved fun at the beach with le neden, shopping in the city and then just when we thought we were budless we embarked on a huge car trek with Kevin Fone and NZ Samoa Joe, fucking nuts. I finished my christmas eve baked, with christmas morning about 1am high in le sky watching cartoons and eating chocolate.

Back to work today, fat-ass load but hopefully it'll be bearable. Gonna go meet Ash at Whitties for some shopping, then Royal Rumble and blazing before work!
